EDUFUSION NSG: 1st-Year Management Board Meeting held in Almaty, Kazakhstan (5–7 Nov 2025)

The EDUFUSION NSG 1st-year Management Board Meeting took place in Almaty, Satbayev University. The three-day programme combined management and capacity-building activities.
The meeting opened with welcome addresses by Project Coordinator and Satbayev University management team, partners reviewed project progress and objectives, followed by a campus tour, and a series of work-package presentations: WP1 (Management), WP2 (AICP development), WP3 (TDSS educator training and certification), WP4 (Course development for VSEA), WP5 (Inclusive social recognition), and WP6 (Growth and outreach). The agenda also featured entrepreneurship video presentations by partner teams and the announcement of the winning idea, capped by a formal dinner.
The meeting also featured certificate-awarding ceremonies at KazNU, Satbayev University, and KATRU, recognizing engineering educators who successfully completed the peer evaluation and earned the title iPEER (International Professional Engineering Educator Registered). Beyond international recognition, iPEER status enables an independent diagnosis of competency development levels and the definition of an individualized professional-development route that these educators will follow within the project, leveraging the new Professional Development Programs to strengthen abilities, knowledge, and attitudes.
The meeting concluded on 7 November with further steps remarks, the final MB session and closing.
The Consortium thanks the host institutions and partners for their contributions and looks forward to advancing AICP deployment, educator training and certification, and new course offerings aligned with project goals in the coming year.
