One of the specific objectives of the project is to train and certify 200 educators through the Teacher Development and Support System (TDSS) using modern teaching methodologies, with at least 50% of them achieving international certification standards within the last year of the project. In this context, educators from partner universities in Kazakhstan have begun working on WP3: TDSS Educator Training and Certification.
A dedicated recruitment and enrollment campaign has been launched across participating Higher Education Institutions, aiming to attract educators from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and broadening the reach of the initiative. Through their involvement, educators contribute to the development of a strong, internationally recognized community of professionals.
As part of Task T3.3 – Educators Recruitment and Enrollment, participating educators will undergo a diagnostics process that enables access to customized Professional Development Programs. Following the completion of the programme, educators will engage in a structured peer evaluation process. This process is crucial for obtaining international certification, validating newly acquired skills, and enhancing global career prospects (Task T3.5 – Educators Evaluation, Certification, and Recognition).
Each university is expected to register a minimum of 35 educators, each of them will be externally assessed to evaluate their professional competencies. This assessment will help identify individual development needs, highlight gaps in pedagogical skills, and propose pathways for further improvement.
Educators participating in this initiative are informed of the following benefits:
- Strengthened competences and skills that enhance pedagogical, professional, and scientific performance.
- Access to a tailored professional development course that directly addresses identified needs.
- Upon successful completion of the training program, educators will receive a certificate of educational expertise and may proceed with the registration process to obtain IPEER (International Professional Engineer Educator Registered) status.
Each HEI has appointed a Task Leader who coordinates activities in close collaboration with the ENTER team. ENTER has provided each partner HEI with a detailed guidelines and instructions on how to create a personal account, fill in the application, and upload the portfolio.
